HOUSING FIRST SERVICE
TENANCY SUSTAINMENT WORKER
Full time position, **Apply on the website** hours per week
Including some evening and weekend work
The Housing First Service in Galway commenced in **Apply on the
website** in partnership with Galway City Council and HSE. The Tenancy
Sustainment part of the Housing First Service and is being jointly
provided by Galway Simon and COPE Galway.
The Housing Support Officer will work as part of a joint Intensive
Case Management Service to deliver a ?Housing First? approach to
individuals who are long term homeless with complex support needs
throughout the Western Region.
The post currently being recruited for is for: GALWAY CITY
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE;
* QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Studies/Care or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years? experience working with marginalised groups
* Full driver?s licence and own transport
* Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience in tenancy sustainment related work
* Previous experience of support planning and delivery of clear
outcomes with clients
* Experience of working with clients with complex care needs
* Experience of supporting people with moderate to severe mental
health diagnosis
